Ostriches

The most unique livestock animal on our farm, these amazing birds are just fun to watch. Breeding season starts in March and will continue for a couple of month. Collecting the eggs, we incubate and raise the babies until 18 months old. We do sell ostrich eggs, fertilized eggs, and chicks to reputable parties. At 18 months we butcher for the nutritionally low cholesterol steaks and burger. By-products include feathers, leather, dog treats.
